Debbie Pashkoff has a background in design and a Masters in Computer Art. When not painting, she works as an Art/Lighting Director for a prominent visual effects company in Los Angeles. She is most inspired by the work of Van Gogh and Cezanne, although her style and perspective are more realistic in nature.

Painting directly from still life she arranges in her studio or from photographs she has taken, Debbie creates pleasing images from a wide range of traditional subject matter. Her work can be described as "Realism, with a touch of Impressionism". Her still life pieces tend to have a more contemporary lighting scheme, while she chooses a more traditional lighting scenario in the landscapes.

Debbie does commissioned paintings upon request. She welcomes the opportunity to create portraits of your pets, favorite landscapes and other objects of passion.
