Welcome to my oil painting gallery... I've been painting since 1997 when I took 2 beginning oil painting classes and one tromp l'oeil class and have been practicing on my own ever since. I did my first portraits in 2003 as wedding gifts for my wedding party. Prior to that, still life was my main focus with an occasional shot at a beautiful or somehow meaningful landscape or pet. At one point I was trying to flesh out my portfolio but more recently I just paint what inspires me at the moment or what my friends and family ask for. At some point I'd love to have a show although I admit I haven't spent any time trying to get one. I haven't painted much in the past couple of years due to some injuries but am hopeful to paint again very soon.
