Debbie Pashkoff has a background in design and a Masters in Computer Art. When not painting, she works as an Art Director for a prominent visual effects company in Los Angeles. She is most inspired by the works of Van Gogh & Cezanne, although Rembrandt, Carravaggio and Monet would round out her top 5 of all time.

Painting directly from still life she arranges in her studio or from personal photographs, Debbie paints from a wide range of traditional subject matter. Her work continues to evolve as she experiments with different style.

A common thread in all of her work would be her interest in dramatic lighting and her use of color contrasts and harmonies to artfully guide the viewers eye and emotions.

Debbie does commissioned paintings upon request. She welcomes the opportunity to create paintings of anything you are passionate about.
